Constructed on the Huron River in 1867 to supply newsprint to the Chicago Tribune, the Peninsular Paper Co. has long been an iconic landmark on the north side of Ypsilanti. Home of Eastern Michigan University, "Ypsi" is a unique blend of college town, midwest grit, industrial history, and charm.
