Charlevoix has one of the most unique and picturesque downtowns in the entire Great Lakes. Its big blue drawbridge raises every 1/2 hour for boats to pass between Lake Michigan and beautiful Round Lake and Lake Charlevoix beyond. Along the Pine River channel you can see the iconic Stafford's Waethervane Restaurant and Charlevoix's adorable red lighthouse, all illustrated by Michigan artist Brian Walline in his version of the vintage WPA National Parks poster style.
